Archives for the month of: November, 2012

Barbera contacted me this week so I have been looking through her website. She has an amazing body of work, it took me a while to decide which of her images to put on the blog. I particularly like her colour palette and her sense of fun in these shots.

STOB EHT is a new zine by photographer Dan Wilton, shot over ten days whilst on tour with LA band The Bots. It follows the duo’s frenetic journey across Europe, from a strangely life affirming visit to the worlds largest pig museum in Stuttgart, to perilous night time dips with a lead singer that can’t really swim. The zine shows the playful innocence of a young band with a whole lot of energy and comes lovingly wrapped in a hand made, tie-dyed cotton sleeve (The Bots really love tie dye)

Great illustration by Merijn, it reminds me in some way of ‘The yellow submarine” illustrations.

They are gracing the pages of this months ‘Vogue’ so why not on ‘Sophiespots” too! Great portraits by Hamish.

Lovely new work by Sunil Pawar for a well know French pop singer as a teaser for their next details..just a simple mysterious image! appearing on the streets of France soon..

Also three of his monster creations have been converted into stickers by publishing house, Lawrence King for ‘Stickerbomb’

New work by Mitch Payne

Great story for Garage magazine by Will Robson Scott ‘Stalking Peter Saville’
